Production capacity In 2010 Borouge tripled the annual production capacity of its plant in Abu Dhabi to 2 million tonnes. With 4.5 million tonnes of annual capacity since 2014, Borouge owns and runs one of the world’s largest integrated polyolefin complexes, with an ambition to increase its current capacity by 2030. Borouge is expanding its commercial and logistics network in the Middle East and Asia and investing in its Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi and R&D Application Centre in Shanghai.
